Why We Started
RohmTek was founded by scientists and analysts who saw a gap: too many organizations were stuck without the right tools to move their projects forward and generating poor quality data without help or in traditional commercial labs.
We decided to enable clients to generate their own data with fit-for-purpose tools.

Our Expertise
The team got its start with deep roots in sample repository science and geological fieldwork, including experience at the Core Research Center at the Bureau of Economic Geology at UT Austin, labs around the world, and working with clients in developing X-ray technology to fit custom needs.
The founding team at RohmTek is responsible for building global geochemical characterization labs across continents, with hundreds of years of combined experience. RohmTek is the 3rd company developed by the same core founding team members with a legacy of success.

Our Name
RohmTek is named for its portable analytical technologies “Roam-Tech” employing the ohm (the SI measurement of resistance in physics) with a nod to the rebellious nature of the founding team that left big brand legacy labs to build RohmTek.
